    Orange Oyster Mushroom
The orange oyster mushroom grows on decayed coniferous or deciduous wood, on tree stumps or branches. It usually sits directly on the wood or has a short stem. The gills are (bright) orange, and the cap surface turns whitish with age. The mushroom is inedible and has a rather musty smell.
