Domes St. Stephan in Passau
The five organs of St. Stephen's Cathedral in Passau were built between 1978 and 1980 and in 1993 by the Passau organ-building company Eisenbarth, following plans by Walther R. Schuster and using parts of the previous Steinmeyer organ from 1928. The main organ with 126 registers is located on the central west gallery. It is flanked on the west gallery of the northern (left) side aisle by the Evangelienorgel – a solo instrument in the style of French Romanticism – and on the southern (right) side aisle by the Epistle organ in the style of Italian organs from the 16th and 17th centuries. Domes St. Stephan in Passau
