Northern Hawk Owl (Surnia ulula)
In autumn/early winter 2013, a hawk owl had flown into the Ore Mountains. Throughout the entire period, the beautiful bird stayed near a traditional orchard on the outskirts of Stollberg. This provided the opportunity to beautifully photograph the not very shy bird.

Sperbereule (Surnia ulula)
Im Herbst/Frühwinter 2013 hatte sich eine Sperbereule ins Erzgebirge verflogen. Über den ganzen Zeitraum hielt sich das wunderschöne Tier immer in der Nähe einer Streuobstwiese am Stadtrand von Stollberg auf. Dies bot die Möglichkeit das wenig scheue Tier wunderschön abzulichten.
