The Westruper Heide is actually better visited in late summer when the heather blooms and photographed at sunset. This time, however, it was overcast. So I tried it in black and white. Here you can see the photo.

Die Westruper Heide besucht man eigentlich besser im Spätsommer, wenn die Heide blüht und fotografiert bei Sonnenuntergang. Diesmal war es aber bedeckt. Da habe ich es mit schwarz-weiß versucht. Hier seht Ihr das Foto.

Tiger and Turtel is the name of the rollercoaster-like sculpture on a slag heap in the south of Duisburg. On this evening, you could see one of the last remaining steelworks in the Ruhr area through the sculpture in the background.
Tiger and Turtel is the name of the rollercoaster-like sculpture on a slag heap in the south of Duisburg. On this evening, you could see one of the last remaining steelworks in the Ruhr area through the sculpture in the background.
Tiger und turtel, so heißt die achterbahnähnliche Skulptur auf eine Halde im Süden von Duisburg. An diesem Abend könnte man durch die Skulptur im Hintergrund eines der letzten verbliebenen Stahlwerke im Ruhrgebiet sehen.

After the sky was mostly overcast during the day, the cloud cover cleared in the evening. With the setting sun, I was able to photograph our mountain guide at the cliff edge in front of the cloud.

Nachdem der Himmel am Tag meist bedeckt war, riß die Wolkendecke am Abend auf. Bei untergehender Sonne konnte ich unseren Bergführer an der Felskante vor der Wolke fotografieren.
