The white horse
I recently got the Nikon D5 and really enjoy experimenting with it. I generally like High Key images a lot, but I always like to try new things and wanted to push the ISO beyond the usual. That's how the white mold came about.

Der weiße Schimmel
Kürzlich habe ich mir die Nikon D5 angeschafft und experimentiere damit sehr gerne, High Key Darstellungen gefallen mir im Grunde richtig gut, aber ich versuche mich immer gerne und wollte über die ISO mal übers gewöhnliche gehen. So kam der weiße Schimmel zustande.

Thunderstorm from Switzerland
Yesterday, on 13.8.24, I actually wanted to capture the Perseids when a thunderstorm approached from behind. So I could forget about the Perseids, but I turned the camera and wanted to at least capture a few thunderclouds. Then I saw a plane coming from the side, waited briefly, and took a long exposure (20 sec.) of the plane making a loop and heading towards the thunderstorm front. Its destination was probably Basel Airport.

Gewitter aus der Schweiz
Gestern am 13.8.24 , wollte ich eigentlich Aufnahmen der Perseiden machen, als von hinten sich ein Gewitter näherte. Die Perseiden konnte ich mir somit von der Backe schmieren, dafür drehte ich die Kamera und wollte zumindest ein Paar Gewitterwolken aufnehmen, dabei sah ich von der Seite ein Flugzeug kommen, wartete kurz und nahm dann auf Langzeitbelichtung ( 20 sek. ) auf, wie das Flugzeug eine Schleife drehte und Kurs auf die Gewitterfront nahm, sein Anflugziel war wohl der Flughafen Basel.

Whenever I walk in the moat of Neuf Brisach, in Alsace where I also live, I can't pass this statue without photographing it. It is simply my favorite statue. Since there is an art association in the moat of Neuf Brisach, you can find several artworks around the moat.

Immer wenn ich in Neuf Brisach, im Alsace wo ich auch lebe im Burggraben laufe, komme ich an dieser Statue nicht vorbei, ohne sie ab zu lichten. Sie ist einfach meine liebling Statue. Da im Burggraben zu Neuf Brisach ein Kunstverein ist, findet man dort um den Graben, mehrere Kunstwerke.

Eigentlich ist die Tierfotografie mein Bereich, doch an und dann versuche ich mich auch an Menschen, wo ich mit meinem Kumpel einem Augenblich des Sängers vom " Song of Silence" nach stellen wollte.

Heupferd
An sich ist das Heupferd jetzt nicht sehr spektakulär, da man ihn gerade in den Sommermonaten oft sichtet, jedoch so finde ich persönlich, in den richtigen Farben, kommt er einfach sehr schön zur Geltung.
