It is a green, tied arch decorated with handmade paper flowers. If the neighborhood is rather small or already older, alternatives like this decorated pallet find their place. Usually, there is plenty of Korn or red wine, beer, and a little something to eat at the party evening... just like when the arches are taken down 6 weeks later 🫣🤭 more Less

In Ostfriesland ist es Brauch, dass die Nachbarn einen "Bogen" binden und dem Jubelpaar am Abend vor dem Jubeltag aufstellen. Es ist ein grüner, gebundener Bogen, der mit selbstgefertigten Papierblumen geschmückt wird. Ist die Nachbarschaft eher klein oder schon älter finden Alternativen, wie diese…In Ostfriesland ist es Brauch, dass die Nachbarn einen "Bogen" binden und dem Jubelpaar am Abend vor dem Jubeltag aufstellen. Es ist ein grüner, gebundener Bogen, der mit selbstgefertigten Papierblumen geschmückt wird. Ist die Nachbarschaft eher klein oder schon älter finden Alternativen, wie diese verzierte Palette, ihren Platz. Meistens gibt es an dem Polterabend ordentlich Korn oder Roten, Bier und eine Kleinigkeit zu Essen...genauso, wie beim Abbau der Bögen 6 Wochen später 🫣🤭 more Less
